I’m a local primary school teacher so used to working with children of all ages.
I’ve just started on my bowls journey and I am really enjoying playing this new game, I want to encourage others to play too.

Pic 2 – Scott Morland

I am a bowler of 30+ years and a recent Bowls England Award Winner. This project is one of my life ambitions to try and change the attitude and increase participation into the sport I love.

I have been a grassroots coach for 40 years and have had the pleasure of visiting all Darlington Primary schools to teach multi sports. As a bowls player I have played at North Lodge park for 50 years and look forward to teaching youngsters the great game. Last year I managed to win the Darlington and District Vets Champion of Champions Trophy where I had to beat the champs of Shildon Railway, South Park and Railway Athletic in the Final.
